Mayo Clinic
Peregrine Falcon Program

In 1987, at the invitation of the not-for-profit Midwest Peregrine Society, Mayo Clinic began hosting peregrine falcons to assist with recovery efforts for the threatened species. Since that time, peregrines have made a remarkable recovery, and the falcons have become an important part of the healing environment at Mayo Clinic.

This page features our popular live camera with views of the falcon nest box. This is live video of wild birds in the natural process of raising their young. A Mayo Clinic biologist is monitoring this camera and will evaluate developments as they occur. We do not plan to interfere with this nest or its occupants.

At the bottom of this page, watch a short film about the Mayo Clinic Peregrine Falcon Program and check out the wide variety of activity pages and other items available through the links below.

Follow the Mayo Clinic Peregrine Falcon Program Facebook page for regular updates about our resident falcons.

Questions about the program may be submitted to Peregrines@mayo.edu.
