Mayo Clinic Hospital, Saint Marys Campus

The Saint Marys Chapel at Mayo Clinic Hospital welcomes people from all traditions and walks of life. Mass of the Roman Catholic Church is celebrated here, along with prayer, worship services, and special occasions. Offering serenity within a busy hospital, the chapel is rooted in faith and service.

The redbrick chapel is located on the east side of the Saint Marys Campus. “Chapel” derives from Latin for “cloak.” Tradition says

In 1889, the Sisters of St. Francis founded Saint Marys Hospital. Today, it is known as Mayo Clinic Hospital-Rochester.

Today, the Sisters continue to work closely with Mayo Clinic. They also support ministries of peace, justice and reverence for all creation.
