Two of the chicks hatched the morning of May 3, and the third chick hatched May 4. Hattie and Orton will continue to brood, or cover, the nestlings for most of the day and night until the weather gets warmer and the chicks can stay warm on their own.

The banding and naming event for the chicks will take place on Friday, May 22, 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. CST and will be viewable via the Falcon Cam. Help us name the chicks by submitting your name suggestions using this form. Submissions must be received by 5 p.m. CST on May 15.
