Oral histories are a method of interviewing for generating and preserving original, primary source historical information from personal recollections. It is meant to preserve the voices, memories, and perspectives of people and communities. Below you can watch, listen, and read oral histories conducted by department staff and Mayo Clinic. Many of these oral histories focus on the history of the department, through the perspectives of the individuals that have been a part of it. These oral histories were collected for the Living History Series, the Centennial of the department, or by Mayo Clinic in general.
